A Buggy Fun Time

We took another fun trip to the Aquarium and Gardens with some friends. One reason we like to go with other people is that the experience is always different. We went with our friends the Jensen's and it was really neat. They were pointing out things we had never noticed before, like the bark on different trees and cool things like that. The mom is an artist and seamstress, so she has a very artistic eye and I loved seeing things through her eyes.

This trip was also fun because we found lots of bugs and learned a ton of neat stuff at the Bugarium.

The picture below was really cool because the tarantula started spinning and one of the visitors was able to hold onto one end and walk slowly backwards. The thread stretched all the way across the room. You can see the thread the best highlighted in front of the blue stand behind the man with the tarantula.

Each of the kids were able to "shake" her hand too. That was pretty cool.

These two cuties are about 9 months apart, but we thought it was funny that they were wearing the same shirt - just different colors. They had the same shoes too, but one of them wasn't wearing them that day.

Horrible lighting, but there are a couple hummingbird moths in the middle of that bush. They are cool to watch.

Some aquarium pictures. For some reason Devry always demands a picture on this starfish. You may have seen it a time or two. :)

I'm not sure why I'm always taking more pictures when we come. We just love this place a lot.
