We stopped at Sonic in Rock Springs for lunch and to take a flash back picture...
Look at that tiny little guy on our visit to Casper before we moved and before Pierscen had his surgery in 2012. I guess he has grown. ;) Pretty cute, right?
We arrived at Grandma's house in the afternoon. Pierscen was thrilled to see his cousins. He loves the trampoline, so he ran straight to it as soon as he arrived.
The next day we went to visit Grandma Ray Ray. Both of her turtles had just recently woken up and we nice and hungry. P thought they were awesome, though he was too nervous to touch them. He watched Rayola feed them by hand, which he was too scared to do, but he had no problem lobbing the heads of broccoli at their heads. Haha. Sorry turtles! We had a really great visit.
Rayola gave Pierscen a couple Elmo dolls for Easter. One is a soft little one that sings bedtime songs and the other is big and will sing, talk, and give hugs. He loves them!
The next day we went with Ryan's family to celebrate Aunt Jessica's birthday at our favorite family restaurant Mi Ranchito. I miss that place so much! So yummy!
They brought us a couple frozen drinks to share. The grandkids were pretty cute passing it around.
Happy birthday, Jess! Everyone loves wearing the giant sombreros. ;)
The next day Jessica and I headed up to Ogden for the LDS Story Makers Conference. It. Was. AMAZING! The conference was the main reason that I went to Utah. It was seriously incredible. However - I will write a blog spot separately about that.
Onward...
The following week, Pierscen and I went with Oma out to Great Grandpa's house. This was the best visit we have had out there in a long time. The last visit we had, Grandpa didn't interact with Pierscen very much. But this time, they were so cute together! They played with the little jumping frogs, Pierscen sang and danced for him, they talked and they hugged. It was awesome.
P also loved that they had some chickens, ducks, and a rooster outside. It was a wonderful visit.
My parent's family dog also had a puppy not long before we came to visit. Just one, giant, rolly polly puppy. Dad is a yorkie. He is adorable and Pierscen loved snuggling with him... when Abby allowed us.
The picture below just shows how big the puppy really is. He was still blind and deaf at this point. He is huge!
One of the greatest things about this visit was all the time Pierscen got to spend with his cousins. We really like living in Casper, but we really miss having family around. We were especially lucky to have Isabel around. She is such a sweetheart. She is so good to Pierscen and spent every moment she had with him. I love watching them together.
There isn't a perfect way to split this in half, but it's will do. :) Hold that thought...
